曾在台湾出了本小说集《金色海滩》，我很喜欢那个封面：几个深浅不一的脚印，留嵌在漫漫的黄沙之中，如生命挽下的结。
    数年前去过沙漠，知道大风一过，任你再深再大的脚印，到时也留不下半点痕迹。但把脚印做在书上，就留住了，可以凝固的如雕塑一般。倘若再放到网络上，那脚印就会一步步地延伸下去，走向四面八方。
    这就是我做个人网站的原因。

my novella and short stories collection of
“Golden Beach” published in Taiwan a few
years ago. I like very much its cover of
the book: a few footprints, deep or shallow,
wedged in sand dune of the boundless desert
and stayed as the knots of life.
I had been in desert before, and I knew that
no matter how deep and large a footprint
was in sand there would be nothing left after
wind passed. However, the footprints that
were printed on book can stay solidified like
still sculpture. Furthermore, the footprints
that go into the Internet, will continue to
stretch out to everywhere far and near.
    It is reason that I make a personal web
page.
